4. It’s incredibly messy
You will spend more time trying to wash ketchup stains out of your kids’ clothes than they will spend actually eating the ketchup in the first place. Yes, if you’re at a BBQ and hot dogs and hamburgers are being served it seems somewhat sacrilegious to nix the red sauce, but when your kids ask for ketchup with their mac n’ cheese (it’s as gross as it sounds and your kids will do it anyway), try to say no unless you want to spend the next hour wrestling with some seriously stubborn stains.
