9. You’ll be Preparing your Body to Age Comfortably
Getting older is not always fun. Your body is not what it used to be in your teens, and certain activities that used to be comfortable and easy are a tad more challenging. But if you focus on improving your flexibility you will be preparing your body for a strong and healthy future. As we age our muscles naturally lose some elasticity making everyday motions (reaching for a glass, standing up from a chair) more difficult and more likely to result in injury. The benefits of flexibility will make improvements you make to your body not only today, but down the road as well.
