1. Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Brussels Sprouts have a bad reputation as being an icky vegetable that kids hate and parents love to make them eat. Which is ridiculous because in reality Brussels Sprouts are beyond delicious, especially when they are roasted to perfection. This recipe is easy and very simple: olive oil, salt and pepper–doesn’t get much more basic than that. But the flavors are anything but boring and these veggies will be just the right mix of crispy and salty. PS – you can add a bit of garlic or chili pepper flakes to kick it up a notch.
