We’re not really sure, but we think it has something to do with the portion size and just how hearty a dish it is. This spaghetti recipe is healthy and light, so we’re calling it a side dish. The pesto tastes rich but because you use kale as the base, it is incredibly nutrient-packed, plus you’re serving this tasty sauce with whole wheat pasta, so once again you’re taking the healthy route. When it comes to eating our greens, this is one of our favorite ways.
