Perhaps one of the biggest setbacks for people who are considering joining Ello is that your friends aren’t there yet. Yes, someone has to go first, but no one wants to be the first to leave a good party. And currently it seems like everyone is still connecting on Facebook or Twitter, so you might want to think twice before you commit to another network that doesn’t have the same friend following.
