6. Invitations are limited.
Ello is trying to maintain a level of exclusivity when it comes to memberships. But not in the “you can’t sit with us” way. They are monitoring members by limiting new accounts to those who request a membership or those who are invited by friends. Note: each Ello user can invite five friends to join, so you better be nice to your friends if you want in.
