1. Nuts
Nuts are a great source of monounsaturated fats (MUFAs) which have gotten a lot of recent attention for being the good kind of fat. In fact, they have been shown to help your body burn fat because they are easily broken down to be used as energy rather than stored for later. Nuts also have lots of protein and fiber to help you feel fuller longer as well as magnesium which helps regulate blood glucose and may lessen menstrual bloating.
2. Eggs
We don’t mean an unsatisfying, insubstantial egg white omelet, we mean one or two whole eggs for a hearty breakfast. The combo of protein in the whites and fat in the yolks fills you up and gives you a burst of energy to start the day. They’re also rich in choline which keeps you from storing fat around your liver.
