1. Certain items are not re-giftable. The little rubbery key chains and pencils that some businesses give away should never be re-gifted, nor, should certain promotional gifts that you sometimes receive with mail or internet orders. These things are cheap and tacky and should not be given as gifts.
2. Know where you got it! Nothing is quite so embarrassing as to give someone a gift they gave you last year, or that they’ll in any way recognize as being originally given to you by someone else.
