To-Give-or-Regive-8-Rules-of-Regifting-Photo3

3. Don’t re-gift used items, unless the giftee understands they’ve been previously used. Getting rid of that old bread machine or popcorn popper that you don’t use anymore is fine, if the person receiving the gift knows that you once used it. Don’t ever try to present a used item as new. Likewise, never re-gift a broken or unusable item.

4. Put some thought into it. Don’t give a gift just to give a gift. Make some effort to match the gift to the giftee. Also, if you think an item might have the potential for regifting, properly store it in its original package, until you are ready to give it to someone. Personalize the gift to the person receiving it, whenever possible.
