A 2011 study from the National Sleep Foundation showed a few important facts: 43 percent of Americans say they rarely or never get a good night’s sleep during the week, and 95 percent use electronics (like TV, computer, or cell phone) within the hour just before bed. More recently, as CNN reports, a 2013 study from the Behavioral Sleep Medicine journal found that “computer and mobile phone use before bed was positively correlated with insomnia.” In other words: mobile device use before bed is a bad idea.
