Men often have a hard time unplugging from a stressful career to socialize and spend quality time with loved ones and friends. Women, on the other hand, are better at being social even when they are overworked. If you are both contributing to your household income and working together to manage your family then you will be less stressed and your social life may benefit.
15. Set a good example for your kids.
Above everyone and everything else in their lives (TV, peers, teachers), your kids learn from you. They look up to you, idolize you and gain crucial life lessons from watching your example. The best thing you can do for your family is show them how to live a balanced and fulfilling life both inside and outside the home. Family comes first, so you need to make it clear that you will be there for your children no matter what, but by demonstrating a woman’s ability to work hard for herself and her family, kids will learn to respect everyone, female or male, and will aspire to be like you.
