When you picture Latinas, you instantly imagine sultry brunettes, right? Well, most people do, anyway. For many, a blonde Latina doesn’t spring to mind. Well, we’re all about defying stereotypes and showing the world that Latinas are beautifully diverse in every way. Unfortunately it’s an uphill battle as the media tends to portray us all as a version of Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara (who is actually a naturally blonde Latina).

No one really puts her on the list of blonde Latina women, but Sofia is actually a natural blonde. She started coloring her hair darker when she realized Hollywood casting agents couldn’t quite wrap their heads around a voluptuous Latina with an accent and blonde hair. We love that she’s lightened it up a bit in recent years.
