4. Sophie Scholl
Sophie and her brother were members of the White Rose movement in Nazi Germany, which was a non-violent, Anti-Hitler group. They urged others to passively resist the Nazis via leaflets and anti-war propaganda. Ultimately they were executed for their efforts, but Sophie stood behind her actions until her death, explaining that someone had to speak up.
