10. Yard Sale
If you don’t feel like lugging your goods any farther than your front yard, consider organizing a neighborhood yard sale. And remember, you can still donate the proceeds to charity!
11. Tackle Debt
Eliminating, or at least paying down, debt tops the list of financial cleaning tips. The divide and conquer approach works here too. Instead of looking at the whole mountain, make a plan to pay off one debt at a time (continuing to make any necessary payments on the others of course). You may want to start with the smallest amount to get your momentum going but it’s best to tackle the highest interest debts first which will save you the most money in the long run.
