The more calories you burn and the fewer calories you take in the more weight you will shed, right? Not necessarily. Turns out eating more protein might actually help you lose more weight. Recent reports from a new study analysis in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition show that “people who balance their protein throughout the day, eating some at each meal, saw more weight loss or maintenance than those who skimped on the nutrient at certain meals.” Beyond that, if you eat a breakfast high in protein you’ll be less likely to snack on unhealthy foods throughout the day, so you can stick to your diet plan and lose weight.
