2. Contrary to popular belief, Twinkies will not survive a nuclear war. Their shelf life is about 25 days. The original formula (Twinkies released in the 1930’s) were only on the shelf for a week, so technology has lengthened their shelf life quite a bit. That said, we wonder how long Twinkies actually stay on the shelf anywhere. We’re lucky if they make it a week at home.
