2. Keep Your Knees in Line with your Feet and Hips
Alignment is one of the best running tips out there. If you want to avoid experiencing joint pain in your hips and knees you need to make sure you stay aligned as you run. Look down at your feet and make sure your feet hit the ground below your knees, not wider than your hips and not in front of your knees. As you do this, you’ll notice that you maintain short, quicker strides, as opposed to longer strides, which actually don’t propel you forward but set you up for injury as you over-exert the wrong muscles.
