THIRD TIME LUCKY?
They say that the third time is a charm and, for me, it was. But I’ll keep that story to myself, as it’s way more embarrassing than the two above put together. Let’s just say I kissed a frog, who appeared to turn into a prince but turned out to have plenty of warts and then some!
We all have embarrassing stories, and that doesn’t mean we are stupid or broken. It just means we are human and that during a period of low-self esteem, lack of self-love or loneliness, we are more vulnerable to falling for the wrong person. Fortunately, these experiences give us is a few laughs down the road with our friends and an abundance of insight, education, and determination when they’re over and done with. What’s your story?
