7. Can a tampon get lost in my vagina?
A tampon can’t really get lost inside you, after all there’s only so far it could go. It can’t exactly end up in your stomach. But the string you use to pull that tampon out might get caught inside your vagina, making it harder to remove. If you can’t find the string or you’re concerned, first try squatting down and see if you can fish out the tampon in that position. If not, pay your doc a visit. And don’t be embarrassed, it happens to the best of us. (Guilty.)
