Richard Burton stars as a former Episcopal priest who, after being defrocked for having an illicit relationship with a young Sunday School teacher, is now a tour guide in Puerto Vallarta. This film about love, lust, temptation and despair also features Deborah Kerr and Ava Gardner. Burton’s fiancée, Liz Taylor undoubtedly spiced things up on set.
