Now, it’s still true that a pot or more per day is a no-no, but recent research shows that coffee, in moderation, could have many health benefits, including a generous dose of antioxidants.

1. Coffee could lower the risk of type 2 diabetes.
A recent study showed that increasing coffee intake by more than one cup a day decreased type 2 diabetes risk by 11%, while decreasing by more than one cup a day increased risk by 17%.
