Apply with the right tools. Finding the right foundation is only half the makeup battle. You then need the right tools to properly apply it. Some people prefer brushes, some sponges and for some foundations you don’t need any tools at all (i.e. the foundation stick). Sponges offer the most coverage, and using your fingers provides the lightest application.
