6. The Music Video is Awesome, and Was Directed by Her Mom
Once upon a time music videos were a way to tell the story behind a song, not just dance around and look hot. And Emily’s video truly tells the tale of her song. And it should come as no surprise that the video is awesome—it was directed by Emily’s mom, 7-time Grammy award winner Gloria Estefan (who also won a Grammy award for her music video for “No Me Dejes De Querer.” We love that the video makes us adore and respect Estefan even more than before, we love that it brings the song to life, and we really love that she worked on it with her mom. After all, with a mentor and support system like that in your corner, we’re pretty sure that Emily is going to go far in this industry.
