Change up Your Workout
Working out can help your body in more ways than one. While fit people do still get cellulite, the way you workout could improve the appearance of the lumps under your skin if you focus on targeting the areas affected by cellulite. Prevention advisor Wayne Westcott, PhD. explains, “the trick is working all your lower body muscles from every angle, reducing the underlying fat stores and replacing lost muscle tissue to give the area a taut, toned appearance throughout.” A few key moves to try include side-to-side squats to work your quads and hamstrings, all-fours kick backs to work your glutes and an inner-leg lift to work your inner thighs. Try to target all the major muscle groups, especially in your lower body, to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
