8. Black Canyon Trail, Arizona. The Black Canyon Trail stretches 78 miles through scenic desert and mountain terrain. The trail sponsor recommends 3 days and 2 nights for the complete trip. Intermediate biking skills are recommended.
9. Centennial Trail, South Dakota. Centennial Trail runs for 111 miles through the Black Hills of South Dakota. Traversing the trail can take 3-4 days and portions are not open to bikes. Be sure to bring water and provisions.
10. Kingdom Trails, Vermont. Voted the best mountain bike trail network in Bike Magazine’s annual readers poll, Kingdom Trails requires bikers to have either a daily or annual pass. There are three separate trails featuring a variety of conditions and slopes.
