Few people now know, or would even care, that in my twenties I made a living as a full-time fitness instructor, that I was once a language teacher, and later a language interpreter. The common denominator of all those occupations is that somehow, they enabled me to be a communicator, which is my passion. I published my first book at 30, but it took several more for people to see me as a writer, an author, and not as someone who’d just published a book for the heck of it.
