The Challenge: Each designer must create three looks inspired by the landscape, the architecture, or the sculpture. The looks must demonstrate a range (ie: not all dresses or pants) and everyone gets $500 for fabric and two days to work.
Josh has a brother in the military so he is drawn to what he calls the ‘artilliary’—an imposing brick building with stained glass. He’s thinking fragility meets strength and power. Viktor prefers the view of Manhattan and plans to focus on the structure and silhouettes of the city. Anya loves the forms and lines of the sculptures. Laura sees circles and Kimberly is feeling new beginnings.
