12. When you are successful.
Sometimes when you celebrate your own success it can feel like you aren’t giving credit to other people and their achievements. But you should never apologize for your own hard work and for accomplishing what you’ve busted your butt to do. Go after what you want, work hard, focus on the big picture and never say you’re sorry for the success that you deserve. Just make sure you didn’t rise to the top at someone else’s expense.
13. When you have financial success.
Whether you enjoy extreme wealth or you are economically stable, your financial situation is no one else’s business. Perhaps you worked hard to achieve your fiscal state, or maybe you were born into a wealthy family. Regardless, it’s not your job to apologize for what you have. Your only job is to take care of your family, to maintain a level of self-respect and determination, and to make sure that helping others falls somewhere on your list of priorities.
