Let’s talk about the Slow Carb Diet, and no, it does not mean that you eat lots of carbs and move slowly. Sorry. It does, however, mean that you get to eat carbs as a part of a feasible weight-loss plan. Back up… a diet that allows you to eat pasta? SIGN. US. UP. So what exactly is the slow carb diet about? This diet, which was made popular by author Tim Ferriss in his book The 4-Hour Body, is based on the idea that foods with a low-glycemic index (aka healthy carbs) are better for you because they help you maintain a balanced blood-sugar level, so you’re never starving, never craving carbs and you are more likely to manage calorie intake and lose weight. Sounds sensible to us.
