4. Share your ideas.
If you have great ideas, share them! Don’t hesitate to speak up in meetings or brainstorming sessions. Your boss isn’t a mind reader so if you don’t participate he will be clueless about how smart you are.
5. Always be professional.
It’s great if you can have a cordial relationship with your team and your boss. Having friends at work can make it feel a lot less like, well, work. But be careful. Never forget to also show a level of professionalism and respect in the office.
