We’ve all heard the myths…you can only take the SATs one time, the SATs test how smart you are, the questions are in order of difficulty…. There is a lot of false information out there about the SATs, and even without all of those myths, the SATs can be intimidating enough. Take time to dispel the rumors and help make your child more comfortable about how the SATs actually work.

13. Make sure that your teen does her math homework.
It’s always important to do your homework, but this is especially true when it comes to math and SAT preparation. If your child keeps up with her math homework she is more likely to be prepared to handle basic mathematical questions that will appear on the SATs.
