6. Business-Related Assets
Marriage is hard enough, but add in a business that you built as a couple and you have a whole new complicated layer to deal with. If you sign a prenup before you are married (and before you collectively build a company) then you may not receive a percentage of those business-related assets, even if you were key to the company’s success.
