Perhaps the most well known of the hot sauces brands on this list, with the rooster on the bottle and the Vietnamese characters, is made at David Tran’s Huy Fong Foods in Los Angeles. Considered the hot sauce for hipsters, the crushed red jalapeños gives the sauce its distinctive color.
5. Yellow Bird Sauce
Billed as the new competitor for Sriracha, this indie sauce was created by a Texan musician who produces the condiment entirely on his own for ultimate quality control. It includes carrots, onions, habanero peppers, distilled vinegar, tangerines, limes, garlic, kosher salt, and cane juice.
