First Ever Global Kids Fashion Week in London

First Ever Global Kids Fashion Week in London
Those of us who can’t resist a Best-Dressed list know that celebrity kids are giving their parents a run for their money when it comes to putting a look together. Kingston and Zuma Rossdale have perfected mini-rocker-chic, while Jessica Alba’s daughter Honor has fuss-free femininity all sewn up. At the tender age of 6, Suri Cruise has already gone through a style transformation from kitten heels and Prada to a more age-appropriate city girl vibe, and the entire Beckham clan are in a class of their own.

With that in mind, U.K.-based children’s clothing e-tailer AlexandAlexa.com has taken mini-me style to the next level by sponsoring the first ever Global Kids Fashion Week in London from March 18-20. This innovative and fabulously fun event will “celebrate how this specialist category has thrived and evolved over the past five years,” with runway shows by both established and emerging designers. Participants include Little Marc Jacobs, Chloé, Junior Gaultier, SuperTrash, WildFox Kids, and Tommy Hilfiger. Proceeds from the live public Fashion Show will be donated to Kids Company, a charity that provides emotional and educational support to inner-city children.

This unique event will allow Mommy style mavens to experience the playful luxury of childrenswear, discover new labels, and see kids’ lines by their own favorite designers. There will also be performances and plenty of kid-centric activities to keep little ones entertained. Even if you can’t take a last minute jaunt to London, stay tuned for the follow-up vids. You may be inspired to launch a Kids Fashion Week in your town!
