WIGWAM VILLAGE
You can still sleep in a teepee at Wigwam Village in Arizona on old Route 66. These are not like the ones Native Americans lived in years ago. Built in 1950, the village consists of 15 concrete teepees with a vintage car parked in front of each. The no-frills lodging harkens back to the old days of the All-American road trip. If this one is not on your way, luckily there are three other surviving ones in Kentucky, Texas & California.
