6. Dirty Dancing
This is one of the best romance movies ever made. Period. An awkward teen goes on a summer retreat with her family only to start a romantic (and forbidden) relationship with the resident dance instructor. Did we mention that instructor is Patrick Swayze? Talk about a teenage girl’s fantasy…our summer trips were never quite that exciting. Even nearly 30 years after it’s release, we still can’t help but get lost in Baby and Johnny’s on-screen chemistry and this story of passion, love and growing up.
