WHY & WHAT
First, consider why you want to go and what you want out of it. If your interest is in just getting a degree for the sake of self-esteem and to make your family proud, by all means go for it. If you think you’ll automatically get a job, forget about it. Unless, of course, you know exactly what job you want and it says right there on the application that you need that specific degree. Unless you’re going for a technical degree, college is still a very general education, and many jobs today require specialization. But with a degree and perhaps an internship or two, you will be on your way to the professional future you desire.
