1. Moisturize Right After the Shower
For best dry skin treatment, apply moisturizer immediately after bathing to seal in moisture while your skin is still damp. Use moisturizers that are hypoallergenic, free of dyes, fragrances, since they can be irritating to the skin. In the winter, lighter moisturizers, which feel better on the skin, don’t do the job like heavier creams do. Or else there’s Vaseline, which is supposed to work wonders.
