14. Learn a Language
In a time of increasingly blended cultures where world travel is as easy as getting on a plane, it’s more important than ever for kids to know more than one language. They’ll have an easier time learning it while they’re young.
15. World Cultures
Introduce your kids to other cultures. If your family is steeped in Hispanic Heritage and you have friends with kids who are Asian American or some other ethnicity, organize after school swaps where each child gets to spend time learning about the other family’s culture.
