He seems like he could be our best friend
Something about Jimmy seems completely normal and down to earth, even though he’s super famous. He just feels like he could be our best friend; it’s like we are hanging out on his couch watching TV, not hanging out on our own couch watching him ON TV. He’s approachable, funny and real, and he displays so many of the qualities we look for in a buddy. #friendshipgoals
He knows how to laugh at himself
Jimmy Fallon is notorious for laughing and breaking character. He did it all the time on SNL, which is part of what made him so damn funny. When someone tries hard to make you laugh, it can seem forced, but when they are trying hard not to laugh, and they can’t help but break out in giggles, you’ll laugh with them. His smile is contagious, and we love that he doesn’t take himself too seriously.
He loves music
Some of the most fun moments on The Jimmy Fallon Show are when he has musical guests perform, but they don’t just perform on stage, they perform in the music room with classroom instruments (think letter blocks, triangles, xylophones and bongo drums). Jimmy, his musical guest and The Roots perform a stripped down version the hit song, like this performance of “Let It Go” with Idina Menzel. We’d be lying if we said we haven’t watched this on repeat with our kids.
