Lyft, an Uber alternative, just formed a partnership with GM that will give more potential drivers access to reliable cars. It’s pretty clear that this type of car service is only getting bigger. In fact, the long-term goal of their partnership is to eventually add a fleet of driverless cars that riders can summon through an app. Uber has similar plans so it seems like driverless cars really are in the not-too-distant future. Crazy!
