An acquaintance talked me into direct selling and although it didn’t appeal to me at first, it had something in common with everything else I’d ever done before—it kept me being a freelancer, my own boss. I gave jewelry sales a shot, and it helped pay the bills for a few months until serendipity introduced me to online writing. And the rest is history. I went from writing, which is my passion, to editing, then managing a department of an online publication, to finally managing Mamiverse.
