Next dump all of your purse belongings on a table. Everything you typically carry around will be displayed in front of you. Pull aside the items you never touch. Maybe you carry a hairbrush that you never use, or you have three lip-glosses when one would be enough. We get that you like to be prepared for any situation, but if you haven’t used an item in months, you probably don’t need to carry it around. Only carry items that you know you’ll need for a specific and imminent purpose. Before you restock your bag, wipe down the inside lining and shake out any dust, sand, dirt or lingering crumbs. Try and do this weekly so you can manage the contents of your bag before it gets out of control.
