One of the most important belongings in your bag is your wallet, and it also happens to be the heaviest. These days you probably use your credit card more than cash or change, and yet, you have 2 pounds of coins stashed in your wallet, change purse, or worse, lying on the floor of your handbag. Empty out your wallet and discard (or save somewhere else, far away from your purse) old business cards that you don’t use. Set aside all coins and store them in a jar in your home. When that jar fills up you turn it in for cash, which you are more than welcome to carry around in your bag.
