16. Look at Photographs from Your Past
A picture says a thousand words. But they don’t say anything if they are boxed up in your basement. Take out old photos of you and your family and share them with your kids. And don’t stick to just school photos or family portraits. Find pictures that represent memories you have from childhood…the more embarrassing the better.
17. Introduce Cultural Toys to Your Children
All kids love toys—it’s a fact. Introduce your children to unique toys from your home country. Not only will they be blown away by the special toys that no one else at school has, but they’ll learn about their roots and the activities that kids in your home country enjoy as they grow up.
