4. Doomed to Fail

5. Spousal Inheritance
If you sign a prenup then you might be giving up your right to inherit assets from your spouse’s estate. Legally you are eligible to receive a certain portion of your spouse’s estate even if that request is not stipulated in his or her will. But if you sign a premarital agreement indicating otherwise, your inheritance may be compromised.
