3. Creates Resentment
One of the worst downsides to a prenup is a marriage filled with resentment, rather than love. If one partner is not happy with the agreement or someone feels that they are being taken advantage of then your marriage will be tense before it even starts. The goal of a prenup should be financial stability for your family for many years to come. When it becomes a matter of mine versus yours then things can get really messy, really fast.
