Mamiverse is thrilled to announce the debut of its new mobile app, Mamiverse Mobile, which will allow our readers to keep the Mamiverse content they love at their fingertips. Mamiverse teamed up with app developers Startal, the same people who brought us the LazyTown app for kids and parents, to create this intuitive, user-friendly app that includes all the great content as our website. Now available at the App Store for iPhone and iPad , a version for Android will be released in March.
Much has been written about how Latinos—Latinas, in particular—far outpace their non-Hispanic peers in terms of mobile media consumption. Latinas are more inclined to use their smartphones to read news and lifestyle content, check email, shop and even watch TV. Now they’ll be able to access Mamiverse’s most popular posts on parenting, health, love and relationships, cooking and style, all in the palm of their hands. Mamiverse founder and CEO Rene Alegria, says that “with the access capabilities of Mamiverse Mobile, we will be able to place our content directly into the hands of a Hispanic community that clearly prefers the convenience of smartphones and emerging mobile technology.”
