Most of our coveted movies were, of course, Disney classics. These days, we still love watching Disney movies with our kids, in part because they usually have some sort of valuable moral message. July 17 marks the 59th anniversary of the opening of Disneyland Park (formerly called simply Disneyland) in California. To celebrate, everyone seems to be talking Disney. A recent article in The New York Times Magazine even went so far as to chronicle a story of how Disney films reached a boy with autism, bringing a family together as the movies have for so many of us.
