“The term fatalismo is often used by Latinos to express their belief that the individual can do little to alter fate,” according to Dimensions of Culture, an organization that provides education to health care professionals. It is because of this that we take each day as it comes and tend to worry less about the future than others.
13. No Clock-Watching
Latinos tend to not worry so much about what time it is, something that alleviates a stress Americans have had since…well…forever. In fact, within the Latino community, not being on time is a socially accepted behavior.
